Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung on-Country visit

Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation hosted an on-Country visit in Healesville bringing together FFMVic Cultural Burn Officers and members of the Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation.

Cultural Burn Officers regularly visit Traditional Owner Corporations to better understand challenges, build stronger relationships and share knowledge.

Cultural Burn Officers played a vital role, serving as a link between DEECA, CFA and Traditional Owner Groups on matters of self-determination, culturally safe workplaces, relationships, training and navigating processes.
