Celebrating 12 months of cultural fire

We're celebrating cultural fire achievements over the past 12 months, and we're thrilled to announce a milestone – 29 cultural burns across Victoria!

Many First Nations communities are caring for Country through cultural burning to promote revegetation, produce food and game and maintain a spiritual connection with Country.

Each cultural burn is a testament to the power of community, dedication and hard work. We’re proud of everyone involved in the cultural fire program and grateful to the First Nations peoples of Victoria who make it possible.
